Making Telephone Calls

Telephone: It is an instrument for reproducing sounds at a distance. Specifically, one in which sound is converted into electrical impulses for transmission telephone.

Alexander Graham Bell is credited with developing the telephone because he received the first patent.

The invention of the telephone provided an important device for facilitating human communication. No longer did people need to be co-located beside each other to be able converse. Through the use of the telephone, people could have equally meaningful conversations at a distance, all the while preserving reciprocity.

It plays equal and valuable role in every field including- Person to Person interaction, Customer to Customer interaction, Dealers interactions, Business communication, and many more. Therefore, having good phone etiquette plays a large part in maintaining a strong connection with your customers and ensuring an air of professionalism.

The time taken to communicate would also be significantly increased since cell phones allow people to talk instantaneously. Without the cell phone, long distant communications would be complicated making it difficult to keep in constant touch with friends or relatives who may live far away.

There are different advantages and disadvantages of telephone that is-:

Advantages-:

1.The conversation is relatively private between you and the caller although others might be able to hear what you are saying.

2.You get immediate feedback to things you say.

3.Calls can be made 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Disadvantages-:

1.The line might be engaged when you call so you can't speak to the when you want.

2.There might be noise or interference so the quality of the call could be poor.

3.You cannot see each other's body language so a lot the non verbal communication is lost.

From every discussion the result is that making telephone calls is very important to fulfil our daily requirements. Without telephone our life is very difficult and sending messages randomly is not possible.
